The Cape Breton Golf Academy is the premier location in Cape Breton to learn the game of golf. We boast an all grass practice facility that includes a 300 yard driving range, 9000 sq. ft. of pristine putting surface accompanied by a 3000 sq. ft. green on our gorgeous short game area equipped with bunkers, a real green and multiple lie situations to simulate on course play.

Lead Instructor – Zach Rodrigue
Zach is a Class “A” PGA of Canada professional and for the past 6 golf seasons he has been teaching and working at some of Canada’s finest golf resorts where he has taught golf lessons to every type of golfer you can imagine. His teaching philosophy is informative and simple to follow for any skill level. Students will leave each session with a clear understanding of what they are doing and a very simple road map to improve their skill. Zach is a firm believer that everyone is unique and learns differently. You shouldn’t be trying to copy someone else’s swing but instead optimize your own which is much less painful and less time consuming. Zach has won events as a junior golfer and turned pro at the age of 18… he has come close to a professional win and he is hoping that 2019 will be the year!
Lessons & Programs
Individual and multi-student sessions: 90, 60 and 30 minute sessions are available. (Max of 4 students for the multi-student sessions)
These sessions provide the student(s) with an in-depth knowledge about the golf swing…specifically your golf swing!! At the end of your lesson you will leave knowing your swing characteristics and 1 or 2 things to work on which will allow you to practice effectively to see results quickly.
Individual sessions:
90 Minutes – 1 lesson $120/ Series of 3 lesson $300/ 5 lessons $450
60 Minutes – 1 lesson $80/ Series of 3 lesson $200/ 5 lesson $300
30 Minutes – 1 lesson $60/ Series of 3 lesson $150/ 5 lesson $200
Multi-Student sessions (Max 4 students):
90 Minutes $45 per student
60 Minutes $ 40 per Student
2019 Bell Bay Ladies Weekly Clinic
This is a classic-style clinic with the goal in mind to gather a group of ladies whom are interested in improving their game of golf while having a great time with other ladies. The idea is to provide a fun, social approach to learning golf with your friends. Putting, Chipping, Pitching, Bunkers, uneven lies, Irons, Woods are the topics covered during these clinics with the options of making adjustments with the groups approval.
$10 for Members and $15 for Non-Members
Tuesday evenings (Ending Mid September)
Session #1 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Session #2 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
