One of Nova Scotia's finest golf courses, Cape Breton's Bell Bay Golf Club is situated in the scenic village of Baddeck. This beautiful Thomas McBroom course sits high above the Bras d'Or Lakes, North America's beautiful inland sea, overlooking the Bay from which it derives its name.
The golf course offers incredible views from virtually every hole. Four distinct teeing areas on each hole have been provided to ensure challenging and enjoyable golf for players of all skill levels.
Our bentgrass tees, greens and fairways have been nurtured by Bell Bay's turf-care specialists, making golf at Bell Bay a pleasurable experience. |

New General Manager and Head Golf Professional |
Scott MacAulay welcomes the New General Manager and Head Golf Professional to Bell Bay Golf Club.
"We're extremely excited to have Michael join our team. He has lots of great ideas on how to enhance the golf experience at Bell Bay - make it fun but keep it professional," he said.
For his part, Michael was just as enthused.
"I'm thrilled to be a part of this very special property. The entire team is ready to move forward and begin a fresh and exciting new chapter in Bell Bay's future."
We talked about 2012 being Bell Bay's 15th anniversary. Michael wants to build on all the components that make the club what it is today. And part of the celebrations will be the Nova Scotia Men's Amateur Championship. We host the event July 4th to 7th.
He comes from Ontario, but that's okay. He's been 18 years in the golf industry. Most recently he was the Head Pro at Hawk Ridge in Orillia. Before that he spent ten years at Beacon Hall in Aurora and the London Hunt and Country Club in London.
He'll be managing the complete Bell Bay experience: the golf (naturally), the Pro Shop and the Food and Beverage. And he'll be keeping an eye for the folks from Kildare Landing and the RV Park as well.
He starts officially on February 1st but we're keeping him in the loop now so he'll know what's going on. If you have any questions, you can visit www.bellbaygolf.com or call the clubhouse.
WELCOME, MICHAEL. GREAT TO HAVE YOU ABOARD! |
